Janette has over 25 years of research and business experience in life science instrumentation and reagent companies. She has been an executive in both small start-ups and Fortune 500 companies and has extensive knowledge of the bio-analytic sector, functional expertise in the inbound and outbound aspects of marketing, sales, business development, and launching new technologies into the market.

Janette has developed business relationships with top pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies through department heads and technology assessment teams. She is experienced working in both large and small companies; among them are BD, AmCell, Quantum Dot, Guava Technologies, ForteBio, BioScale and IntelliCyt. She was involved in raising over $100M in corporate and venture funding at five companies.

Her expertize covers the areas of medical device and life science research tools. Janette’s technical experience encompasses assay development in cell and molecular biology, systems integration and development, as well as strategic planning. She is the inventor or co-inventor of 8 issued patents. Janette received her BS in Immunology at UC Berkeley and her MBA from Santa Clara University.
